     Anne Douglas is the daughter of James Douglas.¹ She married Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 1st Bt. and Janet Irvine.¹

     James Douglas lived at Stoneypath, Scotland.¹ He lived at Ardit, Fife, Scotland.¹

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Scots.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Douglas, of Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1625] before 11 January 1688.¹ He fought in the Battle of Steinkirk on 24 July 1692.¹
