Sir Colin Keith Dick-Cunyngham, 9th/11th Bt. was born on 3 March 1908.1 He was the son of Robert Henry Dick-Cunyngham and Beatrice Eleanor Lousada.1 He died in October 1941 at age 33, from wounds received in action, unmarried.1
He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Dick, of Prestonfield, co. Midlothian [S., 1707] on 25 March 1922.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Cuninghame, of Caprington, co. Ayr [N.S., 1669] on 25 March 1922. He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander, 4th Division in 1935.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Maj.-Gen. James Keith Dick-Cunyngham was born on 28 March 1877.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Keith Alexander Dick-Cunyngham, 7th/9th Bt. and Sarah Mary Hetherington.1 He married Alice Daisy Deane, daughter of Colonel Sir Harold Arthur Deane, on 28 March 1905.1 He died on 6 November 1935 at age 58.1
He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches.1 He was Brigade Commander in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was commissioned between 1928 and 1932 at Poona, India, with the rank of Brigadier-General, in the service of the Staff Southern Command.1 He held the office of Aide-de-CAmp to HM King George V between 1930 and 1932.1
