     George Balfour, 3rd of Balbirnie was born in 1664.¹ He was the son of Robert Balfour, 2nd of Balbirnie.¹ He married Agnes Lumsdain.¹ He died in 1743.¹

     Sir Andrew Ramsay, 4th Bt. was born circa 1678.¹ He was the son of Sir John Ramsay, 2nd Bt. and Anna Carstairs.¹ He was baptised on 2 July 1678 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He married Elizabeth Learmonth, daughter of Thomas Learmonth.¹ He died on 24 December 1721.²
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Ramsay, of Whitehill.

     Elizabeth Learmonth was the daughter of Thomas Learmonth.¹ She married Sir Andrew Ramsay, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Ramsay, 2nd Bt. and Anna Carstairs.² She died on 12 November 1763 at Whitehill, Scotland.¹
     Her married name became Ramsay.²

     Sir John Ramsay, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1645.¹ He was the son of Sir James Ramsay, 1st Bt. and Anne Baird.¹ He married Anna Carstairs.¹ He died in 1715.¹
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Ramsay, of Whitehill.

     Anna Carstairs married Sir John Ramsay, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Ramsay, 1st Bt. and Anne Baird.¹

     Robert Balfour, 2nd of Balbirnie was born in 1641.¹ He was the son of George Balfour, 1st of Balbirnie and Anne Arnot.¹ He died in 1713.¹

     George Balfour, 1st of Balbirnie was the son of Martin Balfour of Lawlethan and Janet Balfour.¹ He married Anne Arnot, daughter of Sir Michael Arnot, 1st Bt. and Anne Browne.¹ He died in 1665.¹

     Anne Arnot is the daughter of Sir Michael Arnot, 1st Bt. and Anne Browne.¹ She married George Balfour, 1st of Balbirnie, son of Martin Balfour of Lawlethan and Janet Balfour.¹
     Her married name became Balfour.¹

     Martin Balfour of Lawlethan married Janet Balfour, daughter of unknown Balfour of Ballo.¹ He died after 1624.¹
