     Gerard Arden Clay was born on 17 March 1871 at Stapenhill House, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Charles John Clay and Agnes Lucy Arden.² He married Ella Violet Thornewill, daughter of Robert Thornewill and Eliza Arabella Sarah Hamilton, on 25 April 1906 at Stretton, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England^G.² He died on 23 February 1955 at age 83.² He was buried at Kitwe, Zambia^G.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He fought in the Boer War, where he was wounded twice.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.² He lived at Kitwe, Zambia^G.¹

     Caroline Mathilde Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth was born on 15 April 1929. She is the daughter of Friedrich Hermann Christian Hans Fürst zu Solms-Baruth and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. She married Johann van Steenderen on 12 May 1963.
     Her married name became van Steenderen.

     Johann van Steenderen was born on 8 June 1905 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands^G. He married Caroline Mathilde Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth, daughter of Friedrich Hermann Christian Hans Fürst zu Solms-Baruth and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 12 May 1963.

     Countess Marie Madeleine Morvinov was born on 17 January 1913 at Paris, France^G. She is the daughter of Count Aleksandr Morvinov and Marie Claire Vérola.

     Friedrich Hans Graf zu Solms-Baruth was born on 3 March 1923. He was the son of Hans Georg Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Karoline Mathilde Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. He married Oda Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, daughter of Botho Fürst zu Stolberg-Wernigerode and Renata Prinzessin von Schönaich-Carolath, on 21 January 1950 at Werfen, Salzburg, Austria^G. Friedrich Hans and Oda were also married in a religious ceremony on 4 April 1950 at Luisenlust, Hessen, Germany^G. He died on 13 November 2006 at age 83.¹

     Oda Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode was born on 10 June 1925 at Wernigerode, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Botho Fürst zu Stolberg-Wernigerode and Renata Prinzessin von Schönaich-Carolath. She married Friedrich Hans Graf zu Solms-Baruth, son of Hans Georg Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Karoline Mathilde Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 21 January 1950 at Werfen, Salzburg, Austria^G. Oda and Friedrich Hans were also married in a religious ceremony on 4 April 1950 at Luisenlust, Hessen, Germany^G. She died on 30 May 1978 at age 52 at St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthia, Austria^G.

     Christian-Friedrich Graf zu Solms-Baruth was born on 13 July 1954 at Salzburg, Austria^G. He is the son of Friedrich Hans Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Oda Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode. He married Melissa Buttler, daughter of George Buttler, on 31 October 1979 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.

     Melissa Buttler was born on 5 May 1954 at Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of George Buttler. She married Christian-Friedrich Graf zu Solms-Baruth, son of Friedrich Hans Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Oda Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, on 31 October 1979 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G. She died on 23 April 2014 at age 59 at Leonardtown, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Oda-Desiree Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth was born on 4 May 1981. She is the daughter of Christian-Friedrich Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Melissa Buttler.

     Irina Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth was born on 25 July 1953 at Salzburg, Austria^G. She is the daughter of Friedrich Hans Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Oda Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Wernigerode. She married Hubertus Maximilian Casimir Thomas Maria Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, son of Karl-Heinrich Otto Max Adalbert Hermann Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Monica Gräfin Wolff Metternich zur Gracht, on 1 September 1973 at Salzburg, Austria^G.
