     James Mossman married Elizabeth Cunningham Crooke, daughter of Clement Crooke and Heriot Cunningham, on 2 April 1764.¹

     Heriot Cunningham was born on 11 February 1705.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Cunningham and Judith Elizabeth de Bonnefont.¹ She married Clement Crooke, son of Clement Crooke.¹ She died before 5 August 1780.¹

     Robert Cunningham was born on 24 March 1669 at Glengarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Richard Cunyngham and Elizabeth Heriot.¹ He married Judith Elizabeth de Bonnefont, daughter of Daniel de Bonnefont and Mary de Barat.¹ He died on 13 November 1743 at age 74 at Cayon, St. Kitts.¹
     He lived at Cayon, St. Kitts.¹

     Judith Elizabeth de Bonnefont was the daughter of Daniel de Bonnefont and Mary de Barat.¹ She married Robert Cunningham, son of Richard Cunyngham and Elizabeth Heriot.¹ She died before 1742.¹
     Her married name became Cunningham.¹

     Clement Crooke died before 1732.¹
     He held the office of Chief Justice of St. Kitts.¹

     Richard Cunyngham was born before 1623.¹ He married Elizabeth Heriot, daughter of James Heriot and Elizabeth Joyce, in 1654.¹ He died in 1670.¹
