     Emily Harriet Mayne was born in 1816.2 She was the daughter of John Thomas Mayne.3 She married William Andrew Salius Fane de Salis, son of Jerome Fane de Salis, 4th Comte de Salis and Henrietta Foster, on 12 March 1859.1 She died on 24 July 1896.1
     From 12 March 1859, her married name became Fane de Salis.1
