Thomas Haughton was born on 10 August 1738.1 He was the son of Benjamin Haughton and Elizabeth Pearson.2 He married, firstly, Marianne Manley, daughter of Joseph Manley and Deborah Jellicoe, on 5 March 1779.1 He married, secondly, Hannah Druitt, daughter of Thomas Druitt and Elizabeth Turner, on 23 December 1812.1 He died on 24 December 1816 at age 78.1
