     Johann Wilhelm Eduard Herbert von Mallinckrodt was born on 2 July 1934.¹ He is the son of Wilhelm Eduard Hermann von Mallinckrodt and Hertha Maximiliane Maria Christa von Meister.² He married Beatrice Maria Gräfin von Finckenstein, daughter of Karl-Wilhelm Arnold Ernst Finck Graf von Finckenstein, on 30 December 1971.¹ Johann Wilhelm Eduard Herbert and Beatrice Maria were also married in a religious ceremony on 8 April 1972.¹
