Mary Leontine Wood was the daughter of Sir Richard Wood.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Edward Wheler, 12th Bt., son of Colonel Trevor Wheler, 11th Bt. and Cordelia Mary Scott, on 4 July 1883.1 She died on 30 March 1917.1

Sir Trevor Wood Wheler, 13th Bt. was born on 20 September 1889.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Edward Wheler, 12th Bt. and Mary Leontine Wood.2 He married Margaret Idris Birch, daughter of Sir Ernest Woodford Birch, on 4 December 1915.1 He died in 1986.1
He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Wheler, of City of Westminster, co. London [E., 1660] on 11 August 1903.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Movement Control, Royal Engineers.1 He was with the Control Commission Germany between 1947 and 1950.1 He was with the Kenya Police Reserve throughout the Mau Mau Emergency.1
