     Ruth Patricia Craven Sykes was the daughter of Charles Craven Sykes. She married Lieutenant William Joseph Peter Maxwell-Stuart, son of Edmund Joseph Maxwell-Stuart and Hon. Mary Anne Constable-Maxwell, on 7 July 1932.¹ She died on 10 May 1952.¹
     Her married name became Maxwell-Stuart.
