     Marie Ernestine von der Schulenburg was the daughter of Wilhelm Leopold von der Schulenburg.¹ She married Sir Henry Francis Howard, son of Henry Howard and Catherine Mary Neave, on 30 August 1841.¹ She died on 25 December 1897.¹

     He was with the Diplomatic Service in 1865.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipoteniary to the Holy See between 1914 and 1916.¹

     Cecilia Riggs was the daughter of George Washington Riggs.¹ She married Sir Henry Howard, son of Sir Henry Francis Howard and Marie Ernestine von der Schulenburg, on 2 October 1867.¹ She died on 3 December 1907.¹
     Her married name became Howard.

     Mary Allen Clagett was the daughter of William Henry Clagett.¹ She married, firstly, Clifford Perrin before 1902.¹ She married, secondly, George Howard, son of Sir Henry Howard and Cecilia Riggs, on 5 November 1902.¹ She died on 8 February 1946.¹

     Captain Henry Howard was born on 4 May 1907.¹ He was the son of George Howard and Mary Allen Clagett.¹ He married, firstly, Vera Doherty, daughter of William Doherty, on 26 November 1928.¹ He and Vera Doherty were divorced in 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Natalie Bayard Merrill, daughter of Reverend George Grenville Merrill, on 22 March 1941.¹ He died on 22 August 1955 at age 48.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Quartermaster Corps., U.S. Army.¹

     Vera Doherty is the daughter of William Doherty.¹ She married Captain Henry Howard, son of George Howard and Mary Allen Clagett, on 26 November 1928.¹ She and Captain Henry Howard were divorced in 1930.¹
