Roger Wake was born circa 1452.1 He was the son of Thomas Wake and unknown wife (?)2 He married Elizabeth Catesby, daughter of Sir William Catesby.1 He died on 16 March 1503/4.1
He held the office of Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1483.1 He fought in the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, for Richard III, hence was attainted and his lands forfeited, although some manors were later restored him.1 He lived at Blisworth, Northamptonshire, England.1 He lived at Clevedon, Somerset, England.1 He lived at Deeping, Lincolnshire, England.1

Elizabeth Catesby is the daughter of Sir William Catesby.2 She married, firstly, Roger Wake, son of Thomas Wake and unknown wife (?).1 She married, secondly, Lord John Grey, son of Thomas Grey, 1st Marquess of Dorset and Cecilia Bonville, Baroness Bonville and Harington.1

Thomas Wake was the son of Roger Wake and Elizabeth Catesby.2 He married Isabel Sapcotes, daughter of Thomas Sapcotes.1 He died before 1536.1
In 1507 he sold to his mother the Clevedon estate, which she settled on her 2nd son Richard.1 He was imprisoned in the Tower of London till his mother bribed him free, he being pardoned in 1512.1 He sold Blisworth in 1523.1 He lived at Deeping, Lincolnshire, England.1
