Sir Walter Vavasour, 4th Bt. was born circa 1659.1 He was the son of Peter Vavasour and Elizabeth Langdale.2 He died in 1740, unmarried.1

Sir Walter Vavasour, 5th Bt. was the son of Peter Vavasour.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Vavasour, daughter of Peter Vavasour.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Dorothy Langdale, daughter of Marmaduke Langdale, 4th Baron Langdale of Holme and Hon. Elizabeth Widdrington, in April 1741.3 He died on 13 April 1766.1

Jane Langdale is the daughter of William Langdale.2 She married Sir Walter Vavasour, 6th Bt., son of Sir Walter Vavasour, 5th Bt. and Hon. Dorothy Langdale, in September 1797.1
