     Rose Emily Knox-Little was the daughter of Reverend William John Knox-Little.¹ She married, firstly, Frederick Usher, son of Sir John Usher, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Balmer, on 26 November 1901.¹ She married, secondly, Colin Mackenzie Black, son of A. D. M. Black, on 8 July 1911.¹ She died in 1958.¹

     Neil John William Heriot Usher was born on 16 July 1903.¹ He is the son of Frederick Usher and Rose Emily Knox-Little.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Evelyn Murray-Baillie, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Murray-Baillie, on 14 December 1929.¹ He and Elizabeth Evelyn Murray-Baillie were divorced in 1937.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy Margaret Scott-Moncrieff, daughter of Reverend Colin William Scott-Moncrieff, on 15 November 1938.¹ He died on 8 October 1989 at age 86.¹

     Elizabeth Evelyn Murray-Baillie was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Murray-Baillie.¹ She married Neil John William Heriot Usher, son of Frederick Usher and Rose Emily Knox-Little, on 14 December 1929.¹ She and Neil John William Heriot Usher were divorced in 1937.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 14 December 1929, her married name became Usher.

     James Neil Usher was born on 8 July 1931.¹ He is the son of Neil John William Heriot Usher and Elizabeth Evelyn Murray-Baillie.² He married Sara Winefred Younger, daughter of Lt.-Col. Laurence Richardson Younger, on 22 April 1957.¹ He and Sara Winefred Younger were divorced in 1977.¹
     He was educated at King's School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Murrayton, Gatehouse of Fleet, Kircudbrightshire, Scotland.¹

     Lt.-Col. Laurence Richardson Younger is the son of Lt.-Col. William Johnston Younger.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Ayrshire Yeomanry.¹
