     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1911 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was Assistant Commissioner of Kenya Colony between 1918 and 1920.² He was Aide-de-Camp to Governor of Southern Rhodesia in 1923.²

     Hon. Mildred Lowther was the daughter of James William Lowther, 1st Viscount Ullswater and Mary Frances Beresford-Hope.² She died on 2 July 1973, unmarried.¹
     She fought in the First World War.² She was Assistant Pay Officer, Pay Office between 1915 and 1919.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1917.¹ She was in Civil Defence, Ministry of Information and Board of Trade during the Second World War.² She held the office of Member of St. Marylebone Borough Council in 1944.²

     Kenneth Trist Urquhart was born on 12 November 1932.¹ He is the son of Wilkins Fisk Urquhart, 9th of Braelangwell and Alys Marie Rivet.² He married Mary Virginia Berdou, daughter of Lionel Berdou, on 6 June 1959.¹
     He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A., with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Director of Confederate Museum between 1959 and 1968 at New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.¹ He was Associate Professor of History before 1974 at St. Mary's College, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries, Scotland (F.S.A.Scot.)¹ He was Director of Reserve Library, Historic New Orleans Collection between 1975 and 1982.² He held the position of 27th Chief of the Clan Urquhart from in 1976. Under system known as tanistry (nomination as successor by the previous Chief, in this case, 2nd son in lieu of the next heir, in this case eldest son.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 12 March 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at 507 Jefferson Park Avenue, Jefferson, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.¹

     Lt.-Col. Wilkins Fisk Urquhart of Urquhart, younger was born on 16 May 1960.¹ He is the son of Kenneth Trist Urquhart and Mary Virginia Berdou.²
     He was educated at United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, U.S.A.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 21 March 1995.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the United States Air Force.¹ He lived in 2003 at Otterbach, Germany.¹
