Major Oswald Tritton was born on 28 July 1875.1 He was the son of Edward William Tritton and Hon. Alice Jane Verney.2 He married Violet Margaret Sedgwick, daughter of Reverend Gordon Sedgwick, on 5 August 1914.1 He died on 1 March 1963 at age 87.1
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He was commissioned with the rank of First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1
