     Ann Margaret Swinton was born in 1725.¹ She was the daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.³ She married Robert Hepburn of Baads, son of William Hepburn and Anna Ainslie, on 25 October 1741.¹ She died in 1742.⁴
     From 25 October 1741, her married name became Hepburn.

     Robert Hepburn of Baads was born on 4 December 1698 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the son of William Hepburn and Anna Ainslie.² He married Ann Margaret Swinton, daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple, on 25 October 1741.¹ He died in 1756.²

     Jean Swinton was the daughter of John Swinton, 26th of that Ilk and Mary Semple.² She died, unmarried.¹
