Elizabeth Kathleen Mildred Swann was born on 21 March 1887.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Ernest Swann, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Duncan.2 She married Eliot Albert Cross Druce, son of Albert Druce, on 16 September 1913.1 She died on 23 February 1962 at age 74.1

Sir Anthony Charles Christopher Swann, 3rd Bt. was born on 29 June 1913.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Duncan Swann, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Margaret Johnson.2 He married Jean Margaret Niblock-Stuart, daughter of John Herbert Niblock-Stuart, on 28 November 1940.1 He died in 1991.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1936 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1938 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's African Rifles.1 He held the office of Minister of Defence and Internal Security [Kenya].1 He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1950.1 He was Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1958.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Swann, of Prince's Gardens, Kensington [U.K., 1906] on 10 March 1962.1
