Sir Frederick Taylor, 1st Bt. was born on 6 April 1847.1 He was the son of David Taylor and Maria Churton.2 He married Helen Mary Manby, daughter of Frederic Manby, on 31 October 1884.1 He died on 2 December 1920 at age 73.1
He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) in 1868.1 He graduated from London University, London, England, in 1870 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1872.1 He was Consultant Physician at Guy's Hospital, London, England.1 He was President of the Royal College of Physicians between 1915 and 1918.1 He was also known as 1st Baronet Taylor, of Kennington, co. London [U.K.] as of 11 July 1917.1
