     Henry Harmond Gudge was Secretary of the Austrian Legation.¹

     Florence Louise Gudge was the daughter of Henry Harmond Gudge.² She married Sir Simeon Henry Lechmere Stuart, 7th Bt., son of Sir Simeon Henry Stuart, 6th Bt. and Catherine Henrietta Worrall, on 31 March 1891.¹ She died on 28 June 1936.¹
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ From 31 March 1891, her married name became Stuart.

     Mabel Frances Luttrell Stuart was born circa 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Simeon Henry Stuart, 6th Bt. and Julia Maria Cuthbert.² She died on 12 December 1886.¹

     Marjory E. Bridges was born in 1878 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Lane Coulson Bridges and Catharine Eva Stuart.¹

     Mary Stuart Bridges was born in 1882 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Lane Coulson Bridges and Catharine Eva Stuart.¹

     Lt.-Col. Robert Charles William Stuart was born on 27 October 1826.¹ He was the son of Sir Simeon Henry Stuart, 5th Bt. and Georgiana Frances Gun.² He married Madeline Torriano Maurice Cooper, daughter of Thomas Cooper, on 22 September 1859.¹ He died on 21 January 1883 at age 56.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 72nd and 2nd Regiments.¹

     Madeline Torriano Maurice Cooper is the daughter of Thomas Cooper.¹ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Robert Charles William Stuart, son of Sir Simeon Henry Stuart, 5th Bt. and Georgiana Frances Gun, on 22 September 1859.¹ She married, secondly, John Wessely Shillington in 1889.¹
     From 22 September 1859, her married name became Stuart. From 1889, her married name became Shillington.¹

     Sir Houlton John Stuart, 8th Bt. was born on 21 December 1862.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Charles William Stuart and Madeline Torriano Maurice Cooper.² He died on 3 May 1959 at age 96, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Stuart, of Hartley Mauduit, co. Southampton [E., 1660] on 25 November 1939.¹

     Fitzmaurice Edward Stuart was born on 11 July 1864.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Charles William Stuart and Madeline Torriano Maurice Cooper.² He married Jane Bell, daughter of Dr. William Bell, in 1887.¹ He died on 24 April 1897 at age 32, without issue.¹
