Joseph Rupert Eric Robert Watson, 3rd Baron Manton was born on 22 January 1924.2 He was the son of George Miles Watson, 2nd Baron Manton and Alethea Alice Mary Pauline Langdale.3 He married Mary Elizabeth Hallinan, daughter of Major Thomas Francis Dennehy Hallinan and Millicent Georgina Walshe, on 9 January 1951.2 He died on 8 August 2003 at age 79.4
