Mary Diana Sturt was the daughter of Reverend George William Milner Mordaunt Sturt.2 She married Sir Timothy Vansittart Stonhouse, 10th/13th Bt., son of John Stonhouse and Sarah Stephens, in 1825.1 She died on 31 December 1873.1

Sir Henry Stonhouse, 11th/14th Bt. was born on 6 May 1827.1 He was the son of Sir Timothy Vansittart Stonhouse, 10th/13th Bt. and Mary Diana Sturt.2 He married Charlotte West, daughter of John Beatty West, on 18 June 1851.1 He died on 13 November 1884 at age 57.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 74th Highlanders.1 He gained the rank of Officer between 1848 and 1854 in the 94th Regiment.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Madras between 1850 and 1855.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the a Black Regiment in Charleston, South Carolina.1 He fought in the American Civil War.1 In 1866 he was jailed for defrauding a black of his pension.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Stonhouse [E., 1670] on 30 January 1866.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1628] on 30 January 1866.1 He was a magistrate and teacher in a black school at St. Stephen's, Berkley County, South Carolina, U.S.A.1 He was a clerk, bookkeeper and postmaster until dismissed for inattention to duty at Trial, Berkley County, South Carolina, U.S.A.1

Sir Ernest Hay Stonhouse, 12th/15th Bt. was born on 27 June 1855.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Stonhouse, 11th/14th Bt. and Charlotte West.2 He married Louise Catherine Rees, daughter of Ludowick William Rees and Ann Jones, on 4 November 1897.1 He died on 18 December 1937 at age 82, without issue.1
