     Sir Alexander Watson Stewart of Balgownie, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 November 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir James Watson Stewart of Balgownie, 1st Bt. and Marion Symington Young.² He died on 4 February 1934 at age 47, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stewart, of Balgownie, co. Dunbarton [U.K., 1920] on 3 November 1922.¹
