     Annie Coote Houghton was the daughter of George Powell Houghton.¹ She married Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Hugh Stewart, 2nd Bt. and Julia Gage, on 1 December 1856.¹ She died on 12 October 1913.¹
     From 1 December 1856, her married name became Stewart.

     Agnes Mary Morton was the daughter of Robert Rutherford Morton.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Hugh Houghton Stewart, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt. and Annie Coote Houghton, on 1 August 1925 at Paddington, London, England.¹ She died on 5 April 1952.
     From 1 August 1925, her married name became Stewart.

     William Elmhirst lived at Roundgreen, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Sir George Powell Stewart, 5th Bt. was born on 7 October 1861.¹ He is the son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt. and Annie Coote Houghton.² He married Florence Maria Georgina Godfray, daughter of Colonel Sir James Godfray, on 14 February 1895.¹ He died on 16 July 1945 at age 83.¹
     He fought in the Burma Campaign between 1891 and 1892.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of DAAG between 1902 and 1908 in the Royal Jersey Militia.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Stewart, of Athenree, co. Tyrone [U.K., 1803] on 19 January 1942.²

     John Marcus Stewart was born on 21 April 1863.¹ He was the son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt. and Annie Coote Houghton.² He married Ada Loveday in 1888.¹ He died on 9 November 1906 at age 43.¹

     Ada Loveday married John Marcus Stewart, son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt. and Annie Coote Houghton, in 1888.¹ She died in 1896.¹
     From 1888, her married name became Stewart.

     Gladys Edith Houghton Stewart was the daughter of John Marcus Stewart and Ada Loveday.² She died on 29 March 1978.³

     Muriel Gage Stewart was the daughter of John Marcus Stewart and Ada Loveday.² She died on 12 October 1943, unmarried.¹

     Charles Gage Stewart was born on 28 July 1864.¹ He was the son of Sir John Marcus Stewart, 3rd Bt. and Annie Coote Houghton.² He died on 28 September 1898 at age 34, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the South Lancashire Regiment.¹

     Margaret (?) married Peter Benjamin Gibson.¹
     Her married name became Gibson.¹
