     Eva Dykes Spicer was born on 29 May 1898.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Albert Spicer, 1st Bt. and Jessie Stewart Dykes.2 She died on 28 May 1974 at age 75, unmarried.1
     She graduated from Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1926 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 She was a Missionary in China and Nigeria.1 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1959.1

     Margaret Grace Gillespie was the daughter of Thomas Paterson Gillespie.2 She married Sir Stewart Dykes Spicer, 3rd Bt., son of Rt. Hon. Sir Albert Spicer, 1st Bt. and Jessie Stewart Dykes, on 11 January 1917.1 She died on 7 March 1967.1
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.1 From 11 January 1917, her married name became Spicer.

     Peter James Spicer was born on 20 May 1921.1 He is the son of Sir Stewart Dykes Spicer, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Grace Gillespie.2 He married Margaret Wilson, daughter of Sir James Steuart Wilson and Ann Mary Grace Bowles, on 27 August 1949.1 He died in 1993.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Spicer, of Lancaster Gate, Borough of Paddington [U.K., 1906] on 11 January 1968.1 He was Assistant Secretary to the Delegates, OUP in 1970.1
