Sir Drummond Cospatric Hamilton-Spencer-Smith, 5th Bt. was born on 4 November 1876.2 He was the son of Reverend Spencer Compton Hamilton-Spencer-Smith and Mary Baillie-Hamilton.2 He married, firstly, Roma Hope, daughter of Arthur Hope, on 6 December 1915.2 He married, secondly, Mary Aurora Tudor, daughter of Reverend Henry Tudor, on 27 September 1923.2 He died on 18 December 1955 at age 79.2

Michael Seymour Spencer-Smith was born on 6 July 1881.1 He was the son of Reverend Spencer Compton Hamilton-Spencer-Smith and Mary Baillie-Hamilton.2 He married Evelyn Penelope Delmé Radcliffe, daughter of Reverend Arthur Henry Delmé Radcliffe and Beatrice Mary Frederica Ryder, on 25 July 1907.1 He died on 20 January 1928 at age 46.1
