Sir Ernest Sleight, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 October 1873.1 He is the son of Sir George Frederick Sleight, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Longden.2 He married Margaret Carter, daughter of Charles Frederick Carter, on 5 October 1898.1 He died on 16 July 1946 at age 72.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Battalion, Lincoln Regiment (TA.)1 He was member of the Military Service (Hardship) Committee.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Sleight, of Weelsby Hall, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1920] on 19 March 1921.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire.1 He was director of Fishing Vessels Mutual War Risk Association Ltd.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1946.1

Major Rowland Sleight was born on 18 March 1877.1 He was the son of Sir George Frederick Sleight, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Longden.2 He married Phoebe Lambert Smethurst, daughter of Henry Smethurst, on 1 November 1906.1 He died on 13 May 1947 at age 70.1
