     Anne Barren was born in 1938 at Gravesend, Kent, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Cecil England Barren and Mary Hotson.^3,2 She married Peyton Stephen Skipwith, son of Sir Grey Humberston d'Estoteville Skipwith, 11th Bt. and Cynthia Egerton Leigh, on 10 October 1971.¹ She died on 5 January 2012.⁴
     From 10 October 1971, her married name became Skipwith.
