     Jonkheer Henrick Backer was born on 15 August 1792 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.¹ He was the son of Jonkheer Cornelius Backer and Agnes Maria Dedel.¹ He married Willemina Cornelia Dedel, daughter of Jacob Dedel and Cornelia Corver Hooft, on 23 December 1812 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.¹ He died on 30 November 1846 at age 54 at 's-Graveland, The Netherlands.¹
