     From 4 December 1838, her married name became Bliss.¹

     Reverend James Bliss was born in 1808.¹ He married Mary Fellowes, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Fellowes and Mary Anne Catherine Humphreys, on 4 December 1838 at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.¹ He died on 8 November 1894 at Longton Grove, Lewisham, Kent, England.¹

     Caroline Elizabeth Forbes was born on 29 May 1819.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas John Forbes.¹ She married General Peregrine Henry Fellowes, son of Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Fellowes and Mary Anne Catherine Humphreys, on 3 December 1846 at Walcot, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ She died on 1 December 1903 at age 84.¹
     From 3 December 1846, her married name became Fellowes.¹
