Adam MacBean MacRobert MacAy Shaw of Tordarroch, 5th Chief of Clan Ay was the son of Bean Shaw of Tordarroch, 4th Chief of Clan Ay.2 He married Agnes Fraser, daughter of Alexander Fraser, 3rd of Farraline, after 1607.1 He died circa 1620.1
He held the position of 5th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 He held the position of 10th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 On 9 December 1607 he granted sasine on Tordarroch at Inverness on his future wife.1 On 30 May 1608 served heir to his father.1 In 1609 he signed the great Clan Chattan Bond of Union at Termit as Ay MacBean vic Robert of Tordarroch, being the only one ofteh Clan to sign.1

Angus MacBean Shaw of Tordarroch, 6th Chief of Clan Ay is the son of Bean Shaw of Tordarroch, 4th Chief of Clan Ay.2 He married Catherine MacBean, daughter of Angus MacBean of Kinchyle.1 He died circa 1675.1
He held the position of 11th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 He held the position of 6th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 On 6 November 1621 he was served heir-male of Tail and provision.1 On 23 March 1629 he had a grant of Knocknagael.1 In 1635 he had a fresh right to Tordarroch granted to him.1 In 1655 he acquired feu of Wester Leys (in Inverness Parish.)1
