     Sir John Isaac Thornycroft was born on 1 February 1843 at Rome, Italy.² He was the son of Thomas Thornycroft and Mary Francis. He married Blanche Coules, daughter of Frederick Coules, in 1870.³ He died on 28 June 1928 at age 85 at Steyne, Bembridge, Isle of Wight, England.²
     He was founder of Thornycroft Shipbuilding Company.³ He was appointed Knight in 1902.²

     Eleanor Sophia Stewart-Savile was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Alexander Stewart-Savile and Sophia Stewart Dykes.¹ She married Robert Jamieson in 1882.¹ She died in 1930.¹
     From 1882, her married name became Jamieson.¹

     Reverend Henry Gould Tudway was born in 1826.² He was the son of John Payne Tudway.² He married Mary Leckonby Phipps before 1866.³ He died on 13 February 1866.²

     Alice Stewart Maud Savile was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Alexander Stewart-Savile and Sophia Stewart Dykes.¹ She died on 23 January 1956.¹

     John Shaw of Tordarroch was born on 1 March 1937.¹ He was the son of Major Charles John Shaw of Tordarroch and 7th of Newhall and Lillian Elford.² He married Silvia Margaret Jones, daughter of Reverend David John Silian Jones, on 24 September 1960.¹ He died on 22 October 2017 at age 80 at Majorca, Spain.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Seaforth Highlanders (TARO.)¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1964 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the position of 22nd Chief of the Clan Shaw from in 1978.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers in 1980.⁴ He lived in 2003 at Newhall, Balblair, Dingwall, Ross-shire, Scotland.¹

     Silvia Margaret Jones is the daughter of Reverend David John Silian Jones.² She married John Shaw of Tordarroch, son of Major Charles John Shaw of Tordarroch and 7th of Newhall and Lillian Elford, on 24 September 1960.¹
     From 24 September 1960, her married name became Shaw.

     Iain Shaw of Tordarroch was born on 21 September 1968.¹ He is the son of John Shaw of Tordarroch and Silvia Margaret Jones.² He married Marianne Aase, daughter of Carsten Johan Aase, on 18 October 1991.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the position of 23rd Chief of the Clan Shaw from in 2017.

     Carsten Johan Aase lived at Alesund, Norway.¹

     Marianne Aase is the daughter of Carsten Johan Aase.² She married Iain Shaw of Tordarroch, son of John Shaw of Tordarroch and Silvia Margaret Jones, on 18 October 1991.¹
     From 18 October 1991, her married name became Shaw.
