Helen Hamilton was the daughter of General Richard Hamilton.2 She married Sir Bruce Maxwell Seton of Abercorn, 8th Bt., son of Sir Charles Hay Seton of Abercorn, 7th Bt. and Caroline Hodges, on 30 January 1886.1 She died on 18 July 1922.1

Colonel Bruce Seton was born on 25 June 1799.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Seton of Abercorn, 5th Bt. and Lydia Blunt.2 He married, firstly, Jane Elphinstone, daughter of John Elphinstone of Glack and Maria Prudence Robertson, on 17 June 1825.3 He married, secondly, Emma Orton, daughter of James Orton, in 1839.1 He died on 27 November 1876 at age 77.2
He was Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.1

Lt.-Col. Alexander Reginald Seton was born on 25 May 1840.1 He was the son of Colonel Bruce Seton and Emma Orton.2 He married Emma Elizabeth Loch, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Loch, on 18 September 1862.1 He died on 12 November 1887 at age 47.1

Sir Bruce Gordon Seton of Abercorn, 9th Bt. was born on 13 October 1868.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Reginald Seton and Emma Elizabeth Loch.2 He married Elma Armstrong, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frank Hugh Armstrong, on 18 March 1895.1 He died on 3 July 1932 at age 63.1
He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1894, where he was severely.1 He fought in the Tochi Valley Campaign in 1897.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Seton, of Abercorn, co. Linlithgow [N.S., 1663] on 12 March 1915.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as ‘Seton of Abercorn', and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court ‘Seton of Abercorn' on 20 April 1915.1
