     Samuel Mansfield was the son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith.2 He died in 1894.1
     He was with the Bombay Civil Service.1 He held the office of Member of the Council, Bombay.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1866.1

Henry Mansfield1

     Cotterill Scholefield was born in 1855 at London, England.1 He was the son of Cotterill Scholefield and Clementina Theresa Windeler.1 He married Mary Aubrey Coker, daughter of Reverend Cadwallader Coker and Emily Harriet Gould, in 1884 at Bicester, Oxfordshire, England.1 He died in 1925.1

     Horatio Mansfield was born in 1821.1 He was the son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith.2 He married Emma Georgiana Christina Clay, daughter of Sir William Clay, 1st Bt. and Harriet Dickason, on 4 July 1871.1 He died in 1887, without issue.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1

     Colonel Sir Charles Edward Mansfield was born on 11 October 1828.1 He was the son of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith.2 He married Annie Eliza Margaret Ellis, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Augustus Frederick Ellis and Mary Frances Thurlow Cunynghame, on 13 June 1859.1 He died on 1 August 1907 at age 78.1
     He fought in the Crimean War.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1865 in the 33rd Regiment.1 He was Consul-General to Warsaw in 1865.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He was Consul-General to Bucharest in 1876.1 He was Consul-General to Bogota in 1878.1 He was Minister Resident to Caracas in 1883.1 He was Minister Resident to Lima in 1884.1
