     Lt.-Col. William Fraser was born on 21 November 1796 at Inverury, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Colonel Erskine Fraser and Elizabeth Forbes.3 He married Mary Elizabeth Shuttleworth, daughter of Thomas Starkie Shuttleworth, on 20 August 1833 at Bispham, Lancashire, England.1,2 He died on 13 July 1872 at age 75.1
     He lived at Woodhill, Shropshire, England.1

     Thomas Starkie Shuttleworth was born on 2 March 1800.2 He was the son of Thomas Starkie Shuttleworth and Lucy Clayton.2 He was baptised on 17 April 1800 at St. John, Preston, Lancashire, England.2 He married Mary Ann Gregson on 3 July 1827 at Parish Church, Walton on the Hill, Lancashire, England.2 He died on 3 March 1877 at age 77 at Preston, Lancashire, England.2
     He lived at Ashton, Lancashire, England.1
