     James Graham was born on 5 February 1819 at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.2 He was the son of James Moore Graham and Anna Maria Ievers.1 He was baptised on 20 February 1819 at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.3 He married Mary Alleyne Cobham on 24 September 1845.2 He died on 31 July 1898 at age 79 at South Yarra, Victoria, Australia.2
     He was educated at Ennis College, Ennis, County Clare, IrelandG.2 He was educated at Madras Academy, Cupar, Fife, Scotland.2 He was with Pagan & Christie, bankers and solicitors between 1836 and 1838 at Cupar, Fife, Scotland.2 He was clerk in charge of National Security Savings Bank between May 1838 and August 1838 at Cupar, Fife, Scotland.2 He emigrated to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, arriving on 7 January 1839 on board Alfred.2 He was an agent for the Sydney merchant, Sir Stuart Donaldson in May 1839 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.2 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Victoria] between 1853 and 1854.2 He was founder of Graham Brothers & Company between 1858 and 1870 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.2

     Mary Alleyne Cobham was born in 1828.1 She married James Graham, son of James Moore Graham and Anna Maria Ievers, on 24 September 1845.2 She died in 1886.1
