     John Charles Roper Tyler was born on 23 September 1878. He was the son of Octavius Tyler and Adela Louisa Hamilton.

     William Gillilan Johnson was born on 2 July 1870.¹ He was the son of William Johnson.¹ He married Elnith Tyler, daughter of Octavius Tyler and Adela Louisa Hamilton, on 17 September 1894.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Gwen Adela Roper Tyler was born on 30 June 1889. She was the daughter of Octavius Tyler and Adela Louisa Hamilton.
