Robert Atholia of Glenerochie, 4th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh was the son of Duncan Crosda Atholia of Glenerochie, 3rd Chief of Clan Donnachaidh.2 He married Lady Margaret Stewart.1 He died circa August 1460, from wounds received in a fray.2
He held the position of 4th Chief of the Clan Donnachaidh from.1 On 20 February 1436/37 he captured the murderers of King James I.1 On 15 August 1451 he received a charter from King James II erecting the lands of Struan, half of Rannoch, his lands of Glenerochie, Grenich (now Tummelside), the two Bohespies, Fearnan on Loch Tay, Dalcabon, Faskally, Balnagard and Balhavert, and Glengarry Forest into one Barony of Struan.1
