Francis Roberts was baptised on 20 January 1644.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Roberts and Elizabeth Nevill.2 He married Anne Bustead on 6 June 1668.1 He died after 14 January 1696.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel of Horse.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 On 8 March 1689 he fled to Bristol.1 In May 1689 he was attainted by King James II's Irish Parliament.1 In 1691 he returned to Cork.1

John Roberts was born in 1658.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Roberts and Dorothy Boyle.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Fountain Edwards, daughter of Osborne Edwards, in May 1696.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Padmore, daughter of Arthur Padmore, in May 1702.1 He died after 3 January 1727.1
