     Sir John Christopher Douglas Rhodes, 4th Bt. was born on 24 May 1946.¹ He is the son of Sir Christopher George Rhodes, 3rd Bt. and Mary Florence Wardleworth.²
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Rhodes, of Hollingworth, co. Chester [U.K., 1919] on 22 June 1964.¹

     Commander Philip Wood Rhodes was born on 28 November 1894.¹ He was the son of Sir George Wood Rhodes, 1st Bt. and Margaret Catherine Phillips.² He married, firstly, Judith Beresford Martin, daughter of Trevelyan Martin, on 15 May 1919.¹ He married, secondly, Elspeth Tod, daughter of Thomas Tod, on 12 July 1944.¹ He died on 2 January 1956 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
