Walter Montgomerie Neilson Reid was born on 28 August 1865.1 He was the son of James Reid and Margaret Ann Scott.2 He married Maude Ada Mary Sykes, daughter of Colonel Joseph Sykes, on 10 February 1906.1 He died on 12 November 1933 at age 68.1
