     Reverend Sir John Mosley, 3rd Bt. was born after 1705. He was the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Thornhaugh.2 He died in September 1779, unmarried.1 He was also reported to have died on 22 May 1779.1
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mosley, of Rolleston, co. Staffs [G.B., 1720] on 26 February 1757.1 He was Rector between 1777 and 1779 at Rolleston, Staffordshire, England.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
