     Marion Cecilia Altgelt is the daughter of Hans Otto Altgelt.2 She married Sir John Ure Primrose, 5th Bt., son of Sir Alasdair Neil Primrose, 4th Bt. and Elaine Noreen Lowndes, in 1983.1 She and Sir John Ure Primrose, 5th Bt. were divorced in 1987.1
     From 1983, her married name became Primrose.1

     William Primrose was born on 11 August 1779.1 He married Christina Brown on 12 November 1804.1 He died on 8 December 1850 at age 71.1
     They had three other sons.1 He lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1

     William Primrose was born on 23 May 1820.1 He was the son of William Primrose and Christina Brown.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Fennie in 1844.1 He married, secondly, Anne Ure, daughter of John Ure, on 10 November 1846.1 He died on 12 January 1891 at age 70, by her an eldest son:.1
     He was a merchant at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1

     Sir John Ure Primrose, 1st Bt. was born on 16 October 1847.1 He was the son of William Primrose and Anne Ure.3,1 He married, firstly, Margaret Jane Adam, daughter of James Adam, on 6 December 1877.1 He married, secondly, Anna Wylie, daughter of Alexander Spence Wylie, on 21 December 1897.1 He married, thirdly, Muriel Pilling, daughter of Edwin Pilling, on 8 September 1915.1 He died on 29 June 1924 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Collegiate School, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 He was a member of the Glasgow City Council in 1886.1 He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, with a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.)1 He was chairman of Clyde Navigation Trustees between 1892 and 1897.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glasgow.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glasgow.1 He held the office of Lord Provost of the Glasgow City Council between 1903 and 1905.1 He was created 1st Baronet Primrose, of Redholme, Dumbreck, Govan, co. Glasgow [U.K.] on 7 July 1903, on the occasion of the visit of TM Edward VII and Queen Alexandra to Glasgow.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lanarkshire.1
