     Charlotte Fanny Portman was the daughter of Henry Berkeley Portman and Hon. Lucy Elizabeth Dormer.² She married John Poulett, 5th Earl Poulett, son of John Poulett, 4th Earl Poulett and Sophia Pocock, on 28 August 1820.¹ She died on 27 March 1877, without surviving issue.¹
     After her marriage, Charlotte Fanny Portman was styled as Countess Poulett on 28 August 1820. From 28 August 1820, her married name became Poulett.¹

     Sir John Christopher Powell is the son of Air Vice-Marshal John Frederick Powell and Geraldine Ysolda Moylan.¹
     Sir John Christopher Powell usually went by his middle name of Christopher.¹ He was chairman of the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts after 2003.¹
