Turlough O'Neill, Lord of the Fews was the son of Henry O'Neill, Lord of the Fews and Mary O'Reilly.2 He married Mary O'More, daughter of Roger O'More.1 He died in 1676.1
He was transplanted by Cromwell to County Mayo.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royalist Army.1 He fought in the English Civil War.1

Niall O'Neill was the son of Henry 'Ruadh' O'Neill.2 He died, without male issue.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Spanish service in Portugal.1 He was he won his Lieutenanncy under Captain Don Joseph O'Donnell (ancestor of the Dukes of Tetuan) as a prize for Ensigns who had distinguished themselves in mathematics in 1759.1

Arturo O'Neill, 1st Marqués del Norte was born in 1736.1 He was the son of Henry 'Ruadh' O'Neill.2 He died on 9 December 1814.1
He was a soldier in Spanish service in South America and West Indies.1 He held the office of Governor of Pensacola, Florida in 1781.1 He was Captain-General of Yucatan and Governor of Merida in 1792.1 He held the office of Member of the Spanish Supreme Council of War in 1803.1 He was created 1st Marqués del Norte [Spain] in 1805.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1
