Henry Godfrey Wedderburn-Maxwell was born on 31 July 1897.1 He was the son of Major James Andrew Colville Wedderburn-Maxwell and Helen Mary Godfrey Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne.2 He married Breeda O'Connor in 1949.1 He died in 1970.1
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He was Sudan Political Service between 1921 and 1946.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1930.1
