Margaret Goodman is the daughter of James Goodman.2 She married James Wedderburn, son of Alexander Wedderburn of Kingennie and Helen Ramsay, in 1608.1

Sir Alexander Wedderburn was born on 22 March 1610.1 He was the son of James Wedderburn and Margaret Goodman.2 He married Matilda Fletcher, daughter of James Fletcher.1 He died on 18 November 1675 at age 65.1
He was Clerk of Dundee between 1633 and 1675.1 He was Commissioner to sign the Treaty of Ripon in 1641.1 He was appointed Knight in 1646.1 He was a deputy to King Charles I at Newcastle in 1646.1 He was Commissioner from Scottish Parliament to London to negotiate union in 1653.1 He lived at Blackness, Forfar, Scotland.1

Sir John Wedderburn of Blackness, 1st Bt. was born on 12 February 1641.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Wedderburn and Matilda Fletcher.2 He married Rachel Dunsmuir, daughter of David Dunsmuir, on 9 April 1667.1 He died in 1706.1

Sir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 April 1672.1 He was the son of Sir John Wedderburn of Blackness, 1st Bt. and Rachel Dunsmuir.2 He married Elizabeth Seton, daughter of Sir Alexander Seton of Pitmedden, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lauder, on 1 June 1693.1 He died in February 1710 at age 37.1
