Charles Owen O'Conor, O'Conor Don was born on 7 May 1838.1 He was the son of Denis O'Conor, O'Conor Don and Mary Blake.2 He married, firstly, Georgina Mary Perry, daughter of Thomas Aloysius Perry, on 21 April 1868.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Letitia More O'Ferrall, daughter of John Lewis More O'Ferrall, on 16 September 1879.2 He died on 30 June 1906 at age 68.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Sligo between 1860 and 1880.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Sligo in 1863.2 He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He wrote the book The O'Conors of Connacht.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Sligo.2 He was a Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Ireland.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Roscommon.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Roscommon in 1884.1 He lived at Belanagare, County Roscommon, Ireland.1 He lived at Clonalis, County Roscommon, Ireland.1
