     Admiral William Rawdon Napier was born on 13 June 1877.¹ He was the son of Commander Lenox Napier and Ellin Buddicom.² He married Florence Marie Nugent, daughter of James O'Reilly Nugent and Florence Marion Hulme, on 22 July 1902.¹ He died on 8 April 1951 at age 73.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V in 1923.¹ He was First Naval member of the Commonwealth Naval Board between 1926 and 1929.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1927.¹

     James O'Reilly Nugent was born on 26 June 1849.² He is the son of Sir John Nugent, 3rd Bt. and Letitia Maria Roche.² He married Florence Marion Hulme, daughter of Reverend George Hulme, on 27 January 1874.² He died on 26 June 1904 at age 55.²
     He lived at Wallington House, Fareham, Hampshire, England.²
