     Eliza Colston was born on 6 September 1844 at Bethnal Green, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Frederick Colston and Selina Champion.2 She married Robert Emond, son of James Emond and Thomasina Montgomery, on 6 October 1874 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.2 She died on 4 September 1913 at age 68 at Brockville, Ontario, Canada.2 She was buried on 6 September 1913 at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.2
     From 6 October 1874, her married name became Emond.1 She and Robert Emond emigrated along with their child Elizabeth and grandchild Elizabeth Leveson Douglas Stewart to Canada arriving in 1906.2
